Did you know that major charity organizations, like the Red Cross and others, allocate more than 95-98% of their budget to staff salaries? The actual recipients—such as refugees, war victims, and the homeless—receive only what remains. Feeling a strong desire to contribute to charity, I found my own way. I sent my 18-year-old daughter, a high school student, to Africa during her Christmas break in 2023 to act as my eyes and ears on the ground.
Together, we discovered a small church community led by an honest pastor named Sylvester Lahai Moriba. This church has established a school for children with international assistance. The high school employs 30 teachers, all university graduates, who collectively earn $6,400 per year in total. This amounts to less than $30 per month for each teacher.
I have decided to allocate 10% of NEW HOPE DISPATCH LLC's income to support this school and its dedicated teachers, many of whom have their own families struggling to make ends meet. With my assistance, I hope to double their salary and enhance their families' quality of life.
